| Hi Guys,
This is probably the first SkinnErGram some of
you have received. Many of you own or operate businesses that have recently
signed on with STI as a Dealer, Preferred Dealer, or Range Program
participant. (Some of you have simply not gotten them because the Email
address that we had for you was incorrect.) Welcome aboard to all of you.
Past issues of S-grams are posted on the website if you'd
like to catch up.
Thank you very much for working with us
while we are bringing the new system on-line and growing rapidly at the same
time. Below was my request in SkinnErgram #64:
“While we understand that you all have
concerns as to the delivery dates on your products and we want to provide
you with as much information as possible, we ask you at this time to
please not call your STI Sales Contact to check order status. Until the
total system is fully functional, they have no way to determine a specific
date during a phone conversation. It costs you money to call us and it
costs us money to call you back. FAX or Email your inquiries. You won't be
ignored and your answers will be more complete and accurate.”
Please continue in this manner for a while
longer. It is proving to be of great benefit to us during this period. If it
is causing you great hardship, please let me know directly.
The Custom Shop has to remain closed for
the time being, also. Sorry, but I explained why in #64. (Trying to catch up
on factory guns.)
If the first quarters' growth is a
measurement of how the above items (along with the new equipment, people,
processes, system, etc.) are contributing to our ability to “catch up”, then
we are doing well. Our first quarter deliveries to you are up over 42.5%
above the same period last year. Guns up 51.7%.
Bear with us; we'll get there.
If some of you “Preferred Dealers” (both
new and veteran) have not yet received your wall banner , please Email your
STI Sales Contact to make sure that you are on the list.
If some of you “Dealers” have the wall
space available and would like a STI poster to fill the void, same method
and contact.
Starting soon, the website will list only
Distributors, Preferred Dealers, and Range Program participants, companies
that carry STI guns in their inventory. Regular Dealers, folks that just
order a gun when a customer requests, will then be found under the
FFL Locator.
As a “heads up”: We will probably stop
manufacturing replacement parts for Para Ordnance guns sometime this year.
Triggers, mag catches, magazines, and magazine replacement bodies. If this
could hamper your future business, you might want to stock up.
Have fun. Do good. Sell a
bunch. Not necessarily in that order! |
