STI -- SkinnErgram #74

January 12, 2005 SkinnErgram #74

Hi Guys,

First and Foremost: My apologies to all of you who received from 71 to 240 copies of Sgram #73. We have absolutely no idea which computer cog slipped! During the scramble here to shut it down and stop the flow, some of you may not have gotten even one copy. If so, please refer to the website for that and any other issues you may have missed.

The initial picture of the "IPSC 30th Anniversary" pistol is on the website. We're still a week or so away from a "picture series". We will have a couple at the SHOT Show and Mr. Prommersberger will have a couple at IWA. Additionally, if I understand correctly, the picture series and descriptive words will also be posted on the IPSC website.

Check out the inventory page on the website. We're almost half way to re-establishing that stock. Again, further attempts on our part to shorten your lead times on standard products.

Final count for "new product" introductions at SHOT will be three. (plus new finishes, options, etc.) All of the new "part" introductions have been done on the "2005 Price Sheets".

Thanks to you all, we ended Fiscal 2004 up just over 35%. Current projection for 2005 is a slightly more reasonable 26-27%.

Huge recognition is due to the STI Distributors who made the greatest gains in 2004. The two most notable are (for the second year in a row), Manfred Gruber of Bignami in Italy, and newcomer Roger Sigman in the United States of Florida . Right on their tails was Karl Prommersberger of Germany , Freedom Ventures in Canada , and Brazos Custom Gunworks in the U.S. of Texas. Honorable mentions must go out to the staffs of Dawson Precision in Texas, Shooters Connection in the Kentucky Outback, and Action Shooter Imports in Australia. These guys didn't do less, they just didn't increase as dramatically. The "comers" to watch in 2005 are in Malaysia, France, and the Philippines.

As long as we're passing out "Kudos", how about congratulations to our Dealers of notable improvement for this year? Thunder Mountain Custom Rifles in Arizona , Action Shooting Supply in Louisiana , and Dougs Shoot N Sports in Utah ! Saaaaaaaaalute!

Just reminders (again): Our factory minimum order went up from $250.00 to $500.00 as of January 3, 2005 . You may want to adjust your inventories accordingly. Several gun prices went down on Jan. 3, 2005. Corrected prices are on the website and on the new price list.

We'll have our whole crew at the SHOT Show this year (Dave S., Pauletta, Don, Ed, John, Lori, and Dave C.), as well as "guest luminaries" Roger Sigman (our Florida Distributor), Michael Voigt (our Marketing and Technical Advisor), and Sam Conway (author, instructor, and STI promoter). There is even a rumor that THE Dave Dawson (noted STI Distributor, shooter, gunsmith, entrepreneur, and businessman) will also be joining us for a couple of days. If this gang can't answer your question, it shouldn't have been asked!

Have fun. Do good. Sell a bunch. Not necessarily in that order!
