Sgram # 78: "Speaking of markets, we have
seen a huge resurgence in demand for the "V.I.P."
That market has returned to the point that we will go back to making them in
the original style. That was the aluminum frame/stainless slide
configuration. That will be the only stainless item that we put back in
production." Well, the resurgence is larger and somewhat different than
originally thought along with additional requests. Here’s the deal: 1) All
orders currently in house will be produced and shipped as they were ordered
and launched into manufacturing at the time. 2) Henceforth there will be an
"Option" to the stainless over aluminum configuration. It will be blue steel
over blue steel. 3) Grip and thumb safety’s on both will be stainless. 4)
All polycoat is discontinued. 5) Both are priced the same. 6) Other options
continue to be as on your price sheets.
Sales of the "IPSC
30th Anniversary Commemorative" gun are continuing to climb. See our
website, (www.worldshootxiv.com)
or (www.ipsc.org) for
additional details. This item will continue in production through 2006,
IPSC’s 30th year.
The "World Shoot" gun raffle tickets are
going quick. Remember, it is a one of a kind pistol. (www.stiguns.com)

(www.ipsc.org) We’ll still
have some in Ecuador if you do not get yours by Aug. 15th. This is the last
that you’ll hear of this one except for the announcement of the winner. (if
he/she doesn’t mind their name being published)
The four new CNC machining centers are on
the floor and hooked up in the additional 8,000 square feet we just opened.
Total is now 23,000 square feet. Set ups are proceeding as expected.
Well, I tried to start the game of "Whadda’
ya’ want next year" early this year! So far none of you have offered input
past that previously discussed about the VIP. I guess that means that you’re
satisfied with our current lineup. In all honesty, so are we!
How many of you are beginning to see John’s
"New Product Releases" and "Industry Announcements" in the publications?
John is also working on a new Product Catalog, probably to be introduced at
the SHOT Show. He’s planning on a "book style", 40 page, full color, 5" X 8"
sized one. It should be spiffy.
Speaking of catalogs, unless we hear some
good reasons "why not" from you guys, we’re going to back off from the three
per gun that we currently enclose with your shipments to a one per gun
level.
Do good. Sell a bunch. Have
fun. Not necessarily in that order! |
