Eight of the World's top custom gunsmiths built their best 1911 Limited pistols for charity using STI International parts. These masterpieces are valuable collector's items bearing the custom STI model name "GG96" and the special serial number "Dreamteam1" through "Dreamteam8"
We accepted bids for these guns, throughout 1996. The bids, (received by mail or by Internet) where the starting bids at a silent auction held January 30, 1997 at the SHOT Show™ in Las Vegas, Nevada. The proceeds of the auction,
$22,000, where donated to charitable institutions chosen by the gunsmiths themselves.
