Arron Harris comes from a family of sculptors and painters, which shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s seen his handiwork. Guns are his canvas, and his products, indeed are a sight for sore eyes. Harris, 27 was a bicycle builder who designed cutting-edge frames for some of the country’s top races. He wasn’t interested in guns until six years ago, when he spotted a magazine with a race gun on the cover. Despite his youth, Harris had a sufficient technical background and thought he could build a more impressive pistol. He did, and after a few months, the orders poured in. Shooters accustomed to ordinary handguns were smitten with his bold designs. And, unlike most of the veteran gunsmiths, Harris delivers his guns in just a few weeks- not a few years, Harris, after all, lives life in the fast lane. A few months ago, he temporarily dyed his hair purple- his favorite color. Guess what color his gun is? |
