The Trubor

Built on the patented modular steel frame with polymer grip, the STI Trubor utilizes the Trubor compensated barrel which is machined from ONE PIECE of 416, Rifle Grade, Stainless Steel. The Trubor is designed to eliminate misalignment of the barrel and compensator bore or movement of the compensator along the barrel threads, giving the shooter a more consistent performance and reduced muzzle flip. True to 1911 tradition, the Trubor has a classic scalloped slide with front and rear cocking serrations on a forged steel slide (blued) with polished sides, aluminum magwell, stainless steel ambidextrous safeties, stainless steel high rise grip safety, full length guide rod, checkered front strap, and checkered mainspring housing. With mountedC-More Railway sight included with the pistol, The STI Trubor is the most economical open class competition pistol on the market today.

Note on Ammo: The STI TruBor is designed and tuned for IPSC Major Power Factor grade ammunition. Factory .38 Super and .38 Super +P generally do not meet the minimum power and pressure levels required for proper operation of these competition grade firearms.
